Job summary

RI Track Spray, based in Australia, is seeking Track Vehicle Operators who are natural-born problem solvers to join our team. As a Track Spray Technician you will operate specialised machinery and contribute to rail corridor safety.

The role involves driving long distances, working autonomously across remote landscapes in WA and beyond, and maintaining strict safety parameters. Ideal candidates hold a current HR Class Driver’s Licence, White Card, Cat 1 Rail Medical, RIW/Infrastructure/PTA

Qualifications

• Current HR Class Driver’s Licence is required.
• Construction White Card and Cat 1 Rail Medical clearance are mandatory.
• RIW/arc Infrastructure/PTA accreditation is desirable.
• Comfortable using tablets for documentation and databases.
• Physically fit for outdoor rail work and long-distance travel.

RI Track Spray (formerly GTE) has been the industry leader in rail vegetation control for over 25 years. We are looking for Track Vehicle Operators who are natural-born problem solvers to join our team.

As a Track Spray Technician, you aren’t just \"spraying weeds\"—you are maintaining the safety and integrity of the Australian rail corridors. This is a dynamic role that involves operating specialised machinery, driving long distances, and working autonomously across the diverse landscapes of Western Australia, New South Wales, Northern Territory, South Australia, and Victoria.

This role is perfect for someone who loves autonomy and the lifestyle of working away from home. You are a natural problem solver with a \"can-do\" attitude and a rock-solid commitment to safety parameters.

Ideally, you will have the following Licencing and skills:

Because we operate in high-safety rail environments, the following are essential:

• Licence: Current HR Class Driver’s Licence.
• Safety: Construction White Card & Ability to pass a Cat 1 Rail Medical (including Drug & Alcohol testing).
• Rail Experience: Valid RIW card, arc Infrastructure and PTA accreditation desirable.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using tablets for documentation and databases.
• Fitness: Physically fit for outdoor work and comfortable driving long distances.
