Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mining Engineer – Integrated Planning at Cowal Operations in New South Wales. You’ll work at the centre of operational decision making, developing and optimising medium-term mine plans that influence safety, production and business performance.

Working rosters 5:2/4:3 with hybrid arrangements, you’ll gain exposure to open pit and underground methods, collaborating with teams across geology, planning and operations to deliver value-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience within mine planning, mining studies or technical services environments.
• Mine design and scheduling experience, ideally within a metals mining operation.
• Strong Deswik capability and experience working within planning and scheduling systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capability with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
• A genuine interest in continuous improvement, optimisation and technical planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical mine designs and schedules that support safe, efficient and value-driven mining outcomes.
• Influence business decisions through scenario modelling, forecasting and optimisation studies.
