Job summary

Sims Limited in Australia is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our logistics team. You will collect full scrap metal bins and deliver empty bins safely and efficiently while following daily schedules.

Applicants must hold a current HR licence with proven flat bed or hook truck experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing excellent service to our customers by collecting full scrap metal bins and delivering empty bins efficiently and safely.
• Following daily collection schedules to keep operations running smoothly.
• Communicating with management about any on-site issues, including safety, environmental, or collection concerns.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A current HR licence with proven experience operating flat bed trucks or Hook trucks.
• A strong customer service focus and professional communication skills.
• The ability to work independently, stay organised, and adapt to changing priorities.
• A team player with a commitment to safe work practices.
