Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Kilmore East Quarry is seeking a Quarry Operator to run heavy machinery and support daily operations. You will operate equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks, perform general labour, and help maintain a safe, efficient quarry.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CAT 990/992 loaders (advantageous).
• Articulated dump truck and rigid haul truck experience (preferred).
• Rock breaker experience (favourable).
• Heavy machinery tickets are not required; however, relevant operating experience is essential.
• Previous experience in quarrying or mining.
• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the day-to-day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, front-end loaders, and dump trucks.
• Perform general labouring activities, including cleaning, hosing, and shovelling.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the quarry.
