Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is recruiting for permanent and casual Urban Landscape maintenance positions in Campbelltown, NSW. Roles require a MR licence, White Card, strong WHS awareness and experience in mowing, edging, weeding, spraying, litter collection, planting and pruning.

You will work alone or in small teams and uphold our values of respect, integrity, teamwork and optimism. Permanent employees offer a 4-day week, with fortnightly pay and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Current Class MR Drivers Licence.
• Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
• High level awareness of Work, Health and Safety, environmental and risk identification aspects related to open space maintenance work.
• Demonstrated skills and experience of Urban Landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, chemical spraying, litter collection, tree planting, tree/shrub pruning and asset inspections.
• Demonstrated experience in verbal and written communication skills including mobile technology devices.
• Demonstrated ability to work alone or in small autonomous teams.
• Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.

Responsibilities

• Maintain urban landscapes including mowing, edging, weeding, chemical spraying, litter collection, tree planting and asset inspections.

• $36.41- $39.40 per hour depending on skills and experience + 12% superannuation +25% casual loading where applicable
