Job summary

Wholesome Food Works Pty is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the wholesale food service and distribution warehouse. You will run the floor and daily dispatch, ensuring orders are received, picked, packed and delivered accurately and on time.

You will supervise a warehouse team, coordinate deliveries, and maintain food safety and WHS standards in a hands-on role based in NSW. This position offers growth into management and staff discounts on premium products.

Qualifications

• Hands-on warehouse experience covering receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control.
• Experience supervising a warehouse team and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of food safety, cold chain and WHS standards.
• Experience with Unleashed or similar inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack and dispatch orders with the team and keep stock accurate.
• Coordinate daily delivery runs and ensure drivers are loaded and leave on time.
• Resolve order queries and delivery issues with Customer Service.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, timing, discrepancies and returns.

Operations Supervisor - Wholesale Food Service & Distribution

This is a hands-on role running the warehouse floor and daily dispatch. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll work alongside the team every day to make sure orders are received, picked, packed and delivered accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

Receive, pick, pack and dispatch orders with the team, keep stock accurate in Unleashed and keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised

Coordinate daily delivery runs so trucks are loaded correctly and leave on time, and act as the point of contact for internal and third-party drivers

Work with Customer Service to resolve order queries, shortages and delivery issues

Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery timings, discrepancies, returns and product quality

Supervise, train and roster warehouse staff and drivers

Maintain food safety, cold chain and WHS standards

About you

Experience in the Australian food service or wholesale food distribution industry

Hands-on warehouse experience covering receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal clearly and professionally with staff, drivers, customers and suppliers

Experience supervising a warehouse team

Knowledge of food safety, cold chain and stock rotation

Unleashed or similar inventory system experience

Walk-behind forklift experience and clean driver's licence

Available for 7:00am starts, Monday to Friday
