Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for Day Shift at a South Sydney FMCG facility. You’ll lead a team on a 4-on/4-off roster in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality and performance on the floor.

You’ll report to the Shift Operations Manager and mentor other supervisors, with a hands-on, people-first leadership style and good fitness due to on-floor coaching and mobility requirements.

• Strong people leadership, coaching and prioritisation skills.
• Experience working in a unionised environment.

Operations Supervisor – Day Shift | FMCG Manufacturer | South Sydney

We're looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a team on Day Shift, working a 4-on/4-off roster across a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, you'll lead a team of associates across either Processing or Packing, driving performance, safety and product quality on the line. This is a hands-on, people-first leadership role, you'll spend your shift on the floor, coaching, mentoring and problem-solving in real time. The site is vertically structured across multiple levels, so a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required.

You'll join a tight-knit, tenured team with a genuine passion for the product and a strong food safety culture. Given a number of recent internal promotions, we're particularly keen to hear from candidates who can also support and mentor newer supervisors and managers coming through.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience supervising or leading teams within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (food background preferred but not essential - beverage or other fast-paced production backgrounds also considered)
• Strong people leadership skills - coaching, engagement and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Comfort working within a unionised environment
• Willingness to undergo reference, police and medical checks as part of the process
