Job summary

Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ invites applications for two shift supervisors at our Revesby, NSW manufacturing site. You will lead production activities, coordinate teams on day or afternoon shifts, and ensure operations meet customer needs while aligning with our circular-economy focus.

The role emphasizes safety, SOP compliance, and continuous improvement. You will build relationships with stakeholders, coach experienced staff, and drive a high-performance culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
• A leader who is driven with an energetic personality.
• Well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members.
• Experience leading/supervising teams on a unionized site.
• Organisational skills - influencing, problem solving, project management and time management skills, decision making, goal setting, and cost management.
• Experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the production activities of the site to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
• Manage teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Oversee the production planning process to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies
• Ensuring that SOPs are being followed through regular checks
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure accessibility by employees, and provide a satisfactory level of supervision
• Ensure an open, direct and with respect communication is practiced across the site
• Drive a safety-first culture and achieve outperformance against all safety targets

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 shift supervisors (one on day shift and one on afternoon shift) to join the team at our manufacturing site in Revesby, NSW.

The key focus of the Shift Supervisor roles will be to:
