Job summary

Private Advertiser in Adelaide is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our concrete cutting and drilling field teams. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating crews, scheduling jobs, and guiding operations to run safely, efficiently and profitably.

You will work closely with owners, administration, clients and site staff to plan work, allocate labour, vehicles and equipment, manage changes, and ensure high standards of productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete cutting and drilling would be highly regarded
• Leaders from civil construction, trades, demolition, construction services or similar operational environments considered
• Must be able to lead people, solve problems and get things done

Operations Supervisor - Concrete Cutting and Drilling

One of South Australia’s largest and longest-established concrete cutting and drilling businesses is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead its day-to-day field operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands construction, knows how to coordinate people and jobs, and can keep a busy operation moving safely, efficiently and profitably.

With a strong reputation, an established team and significant growth ahead, this is an opportunity to take ownership of operations and play an important role in the next stage of the business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating our concrete cutting and drilling crews, managing job scheduling and responding to the inevitable changes that happen throughout the day.

You’ll work closely with the business owners, administration team, clients and field staff to ensure jobs are properly planned, crews have what they need, and work is completed safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

You’ll suit this role if you’re practical, organised and confident making decisions in a fast-moving construction environment.

Experience in concrete cutting and drilling would be highly regarded, but we’re also interested in experienced supervisors from civil construction, trades, demolition, construction services or similar operational environments.

Most importantly, you’ll need to be someone who can lead people, solve problems and get things done.
