RIMEX Tyre Services in Mackay, QLD, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our Mackay operations, coordinate field service teams and drive growth. Qualifications

• Strong workforce planning, scheduling and resource coordination skills.
• Solid understanding of workplace safety and field service operations.

• Commercial awareness and understanding of productivity, costs and profitability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach managing competing priorities.
• Competence with Microsoft 365 and operational reporting systems.
• Current driver’s licence.

RIMEX Tyre Services is seeking a capable, hands‑on Operations Supervisor to lead our Mackay operations, coordinate our field service teams and help drive the next stage of business growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager RTS, you will oversee the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of tyre services across our Mackay operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring our teams are organised, our customers are supported and our operational commitments are consistently delivered.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, supporting and developing a team of tyre fitters, leading hands and contractors.
• Coordinating daily operations, workforce scheduling, job allocation and site mobilisation.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, quality and customer service.
• Managing operational resources to maximise productivity, efficiency and service delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the expansion of our customer base.

About You

We are looking for a practical, commercially minded leader who knows how to get things done.

You will bring:

• Proven supervisory or operational leadership experience within tyre services, mining services, heavy industry, mobile maintenance or a related environment.
• Strong workforce planning, scheduling and resource coordination skills.
• A solid understanding of workplace safety and field service operations.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop operational teams.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of productivity, operational costs and profitability.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build lasting customer relationships.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Competence with Microsoft 365 and operational reporting systems.
• A current driver’s licence.

Experience in tyre-fitting operations and mining-related services will be highly regarded.
