Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the Welshpool depot in WA. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate drivers, and supervise a team of about 14 staff, with on-call duties on a 1 in 4 roster.

The role focuses on safety, service quality, client relationships, and delivering efficient waste collection operations. You will lead toolbox talks, review daily tasks, and ensure compliance with AlwaysSafe standards and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in the waste industry (desirable).
• Proven people management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Will provide training to the right candidate.

• Conducting morning toolbox meetings and safety briefings / safety interactions
• Reviewing tasks and jobs throughout the day
• Kickstarting daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
• Providing guidance and supervision to the residential Commercial collections team

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join the team at Welshpool WA 6163 depot. This role is responsible for the day to day running of the site, drivers, and incident management of approximately 14 staff.

This is a Monday to Friday role with a 1 week in 4 on call roster.
