Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead day-to-day transport and logistics operations in Australia. The role focuses on optimizing collections, mentoring staff, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across NHVR and environmental guidelines.

You will manage driver runs, coordinate shifts, and drive service excellence while maintaining cost efficiency and labour productivity within a fast-paced roster.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor in transport/logistics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HSE and NHVR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment.

• Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets.
• Enforce and monitor all NHVR regulations.
• Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management.
• Lead performance management investigations and outcomes.

Your new role:

Your skills and experience:

• Experienced Supervisor with a transport & logistics background,
• Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation
• Knowledge of the NHV legislation
• A passion for safety and sustainability
• Heavy Rigid driver's licence is desirable, but not essential
