Lindsay Australia Limited is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Cairns Depot to lead daily transport operations, ensuring safe, on-time service, efficient fleet utilisation and strong customer communications. You will coordinate drivers, manage schedules and monitor performance to uphold safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or general freight operations, with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Understanding of CoR, fatigue management, WHS and transport compliance.
• Experience coordinating daily transport operations, fleet movements and driver schedules.
• Strong leadership and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transport operations to ensure safe, efficient and on-time service delivery.
• Coordinate drivers, fleet allocation and daily scheduling to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor freight movements and resolve operational issues to minimise service disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, fatigue management, WHS and company policies.
• Supervise driver performance and assist with training where required.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to ensure effective communication and service outcomes.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements and operational concerns.
• Complete operational reporting and documentation accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency and customer service.
• Work collaboratively with the depot team to achieve operational targets and deliver exceptional service.
