Job summary

ARC Metalcentre is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day Reinforcing production and dispatch activities at the Albury site. You will supervise a team of operators, coordinate schedules and resources, and drive safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a hands-on leadership role, aligning operational planning with customer delivery targets, ensuring compliance and delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising teams within manufacturing, steel, building products, logistics or other fast-paced operational environments.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing customer business demands.
  • Experience working to daily operational targets, reporting requirements and safety compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with customers, transport providers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Albury branch, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Reinforcing business, ensuring the safe, efficient and timely delivery of production and dispatch activities. As the Operations Supervisor , you'll supervise a team of operators, coordinate production and logistics priorities, drive safety and compliance and help deliver outstanding service to our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining operational planning, people leadership and on-floor support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
