Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an experienced Operations Support Lead for a fixed-term 4-month contract based in NSW. You will partner with State Managers to deliver the state transition plan, strengthening readiness, safeguarding, and performance across services in NSW, with regular travel required.

The role includes promoting operational excellence, governance and risk management, and reporting on transition progress, safety, and compliance while supporting teams and families throughout the change

Qualifications

Experience in operational leadership, quality assurance, compliance, safeguarding or performance improvement.
Strong understanding of governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across NSW (and ACT) during the contract.

Responsibilities

Partner with State Managers, Area Directors and Centre Directors to support the transition of services into Busy Bees operating model.
Conduct readiness and assurance visits to assess performance, safeguarding, compliance and transition progress.
Coach and support operational leaders to strengthen practice consistency and sustainable improvement.
Identify and monitor operational, workforce and transition risks and support improvement plans.
Prepare reports and insights on safeguarding outcomes, readiness, compliance and progress.
