Job summary

Core Engineering Group, based in Sydney, is seeking an Operations & Projects Coordinator to join a fast-growing fire engineering consultancy. You’ll help keep projects on track, coordinate schedules, and improve business systems while supporting Directors and clients.

This early-career role offers mentorship, development plans, and exposure to a range of projects from data centres to residential developments. You’ll grow with the team as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in operations, admin, or project coordination.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive and forward-thinking, able to anticipate needs and solve problems.
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal projects, tasks, and timelines using Monday.com.
• Prepare and edit reports and support client/project communications.
• Provide scheduling and administrative support to Directors.
• Assist in HR, onboarding, travel and office logistics.
• Process and track project invoicing and coordinate with project managers.
• Support rollout of system upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain records and track project deliverables.
• Support broader administrative and operational functions as the business grows.
