Job summary

Linfox in Laverton North, VIC, Australia, is seeking an Operations Process Coordinator to support live transport execution and coordinate freight movements across company and subcontractor fleets.

You will provide operational support to Allocators, manage load bookings and transport planning, and keep Blue Yonder data accurate to enable real-time decisions. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm, within a leading national transport network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transport operations or logistics coordination.
• Experience coordinating with drivers, subcontractors and customers.
• Tech-savvy with experience using transport management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-critical environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate live transport movements across company and subcontractor fleets to maintain service performance.
• Deliver operational support to Allocators through load management, bookings, and transport planning adjustments.
• Maintain accurate transport data within Blue Yonder to support real-time decision making.
• Manage transport disruptions, schedule changes and breakdown contingencies to minimise service impacts.
• Provide timely updates to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement across the transport operation.

What does the job look like?

Join one of Australia's largest logistics networks and play a pivotal role in keeping freight moving across a complex national road transport operation. As an Operations Process Coordinator, you'll support live transport execution, coordinate freight movements through and partner with drivers, subcontractors and customers to deliver exceptional service outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with transport operations or logistics experience who is looking to build their career within a leading national supply chain business.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Laverton North site within our afternoon shift operation on a working schedule of Monday - Friday from 1:00pm - 9:00pm. Key areas:

• Coordinate live transport movements across company and subcontractor fleets to maintain service performance and network visibility
• Deliver operational support to Allocators through load management, bookings, system updates and transport planning adjustments
• Maintain accurate transport data within Blue Yonder to support real-time decision making and operational success
• Manage transport disruptions, schedule changes and breakdown contingencies to minimise service impacts
• Provide timely updates to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Support safety initiatives, operational reviews and continuous improvement activities across the transport operation

• 2+ years of experience in transport operations, allocation, dispatch, logistics coordination or transport-focused customer service
• Prior experience working with customers, drivers, subcontractors and operational stakeholders to deliver outcomes
• You're tech-savvy and have utilized to transport management systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a time-critical operational environment
• Proven problem-solving capability and confidence responding to operational disruptions and service issues
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence
