Job summary

Bunnings Group is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily store operations, stock management and sales across a high-volume retail environment in Australia.

You will oversee 180+ team members, including Department Managers, Supervisors and frontline staff, ensuring a safe, engaged and high-performing workplace while coordinating with Distribution Centres and Support Offices to support growth. Weekend shifts are required on a 1 in 3 roster.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large teams in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong focus on safety, wellbeing and compliance.
• Ability to drive sales, margin and workforce efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports and manage store operations across opening/closing.
• Foster safety walks, audits and coaching for safe behaviours.
• Monitor sales, margin and wage targets; implement improvement plans.
