Job summary

Pinkerton Security, a locally owned security installation company with 43 years in the industry, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily operations. You will oversee workflows, staffing, and priorities while liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.

A hands-on leader who can drive continuous improvement is essential. The role emphasises autonomy, relationship building across teams, and a focus on efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior operational leadership role.
• Excellent communicator and confident people leader.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Takes initiative and makes decisions with confidence.
• Focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Professional, reliable and accountable.
• Ability to build strong relationships across teams, customers and suppliers.
• Must be able to pass a police check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily business operations and workflows.
• Manage staffing, rosters and operational priorities.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors and key relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS requirements and legislation.
• Work with senior management to implement strategies and achieve objectives.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Be able to work autonomously.
