Job summary

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a proactive Coordinator - Operations & Logistics to lead a team delivering safe, compliant waste facilities and logistics services at West Nowra. You will supervise staff and contractors, optimize asset use and drive reliable service to the community.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in management, engineering, logistics, construction, operations management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational teams in a complex service delivery environment.
• Experience managing safety, operational performance, resources and compliance obligations.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a SafeWork NSW Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa).

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support supervisors and operational employees to deliver safe, effective and customer focused services.
• Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the operation.
• Monitor and report on operational performance, service levels and business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset utilisation, operational efficiency and service reliability.
