Job summary

ASC is seeking a Project Coordinator – Operations Capability Delivery to lead workforce capability initiatives, training programs and readiness projects. You will work with leaders and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient outcomes and build strong relationships across teams.

Reporting to the Operations Capability Delivery Manager, you will develop schedules, track budgets, and produce dashboards to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Project Management Practice is desirable, not essential.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to prepare reports and presentations.
• Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience in Defence, Maritime, Manufacturing, Engineering, Training or Capability Development is valued.
• Collaborative and proactive approach with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of workforce capability, training, recertification and readiness initiatives.
• Plan, execute and report on capability projects ensuring on-time, in-scope delivery.
• Develop schedules, milestones, risks and deliverables to drive outcomes.
• Engage with operational leaders and stakeholders to enable collaboration.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and documentation with follow-up actions.
• Monitor performance and prepare dashboards and reports for decision-making.
• Track budgets, resources, risks and dependencies and address issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in delivery and reporting.
