Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in general insurance broking (commercial lines essential).
• Strong portfolio management experience in commercial/B2B broking.
• Demonstrated operations or management experience within an insurance brokerage or similar.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across the brokerage.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong B2B relationships, ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction.
• Develop, refine and implement efficient workflows, procedures and compliance processes.
• Lead and support brokers and account managers, providing guidance, training and performance oversight.
• Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, resourcing and strategic priorities.
• Conduct policy reviews, prepare renewals, negotiate terms and place cover.

Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting an Operations Broking Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the insurance team while managing a portfolio of commercial clients. This hybrid role combines leadership, workflow optimisation, and hands-on broking responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, support team performance, and deliver high-quality broking services to B2B clients.
This role will be based onsite at the Mascot office.
Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring
