Job summary

Succession Partners Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Broking Team Leader to lead and develop a growing team of Insurance Brokers. You will oversee broking and claims outcomes across Commercial and Residential Strata, provide technical guidance on complex claims, and drive high performance.

The role is hybrid with two days in the North Sydney office and three days from home, focusing on leadership, client relationships and process improvement.

• 3 years' commercial broking experience essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Insurance Brokerage as a Broking Team Leader, where you'll play a key role in leading and developing a growing team while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced insurance professional who can confidently manage people, oversee claims, support technical broking matters and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The Role

As Broking Team Leader, you will:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Insurance Brokers and support staff
• Oversee the delivery of quality broking and claims outcomes across Commercial and Residential Strata portfolios
• Provide technical guidance and support on complex claims, escalations and client matters
• Drive team performance, productivity and service standards
• Monitor workflows, SLAs, compliance and quality
• Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth
• Create a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Support the ongoing development, engagement and wellbeing of your team

About You

We're looking for an experienced Insurance Broker and people leader who brings:

• Strong general insurance broking experience, ideally within Strata or a commercial environment
• Proven leadership or Team Leader experience
• Claims experience and the ability to confidently manage property claims and escalations
• Excellent understanding of insurance products, policies and compliance
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service
• A genuine passion for mentoring, coaching and developing people
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
