Job summary

Munich Reinsurance (GSI) seeks a pragmatic Business Operations Analyst to support the Head of Operations in establishing and improving the Australian operating model. You will deliver practical processes, reporting and tools that boost efficiency, transparency and performance.

The role involves coordinating with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, IT, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and other teams, using Excel and Power BI to build dashboards, trackers and insights for leadership discussions.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Data or related discipline preferred.
Experience supporting operations, projects, or process improvements in a professional setting.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate and Power BI desirable.
Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and reporting.
Experience building practical tools or implementing tech-enabled solutions.
Comfortable working with data, trackers and reporting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head of Operations with planning, coordination and delivery of priorities.
Maintain action trackers, project plans, status updates and follow-ups.
Prepare presentations, reports and management information to support discussions.
Build and maintain practical solutions using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI).
Identify opportunities to standardise and improve operational processes.
Produce reports, dashboards and business information for decision-making.
Document new processes and hand-offs clearly using Adonis and other tools.
Coordinate activities across multiple functions and stakeholders.
Support governance, business continuity and third‑party management activities.
