Job summary

Inghams is seeking an Operations Administrator to support our Adelaide night shift, ensuring smooth warehouse and distribution processes.

Responsibilities include invoicing, consignment records, and maintaining COR compliance while using BPCS and Pickman to update orders and shipments. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work overnight with effective communication to the Site Lead.

Qualifications

Your opportunity to join our team:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support our warehouse and distribution operations on Night Shift. This role is critical to keeping our night shift running smoothly

Daily Tasks:

Invoicing & Consignment Documentation

• Process and verify invoices for night shift operations
• Manage consignment documentation and record-keeping
• Track and file consignment movement records
• Track CHEP pallet movements and document transactions

Compliance & Dock Accuracy

• Maintain COR (Chain of Responsibility) documentation
• Verify compliance records are current and filed correctly
• Support night shift operations with compliance verification
• Maintain data dock accuracy to support dock scheduling

Systems & Computer Work

• Operate BPCS (inventory management system) for order entry and confirmation
• Use the Pickman system for picking, packing, and shipment documentation
• Maintain accurate computer records and updates throughout the shift

Records & Reporting

• File and archive consignment, compliance, and operational documents
• Maintain document organisation systems for easy retrieval
• Ensure records retention meets company and regulatory standards
• Prepare and submit daily/shift reports on operations and exceptions
• Communicate issues and exceptions to the Night Shift Site Lead

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment (night shift experience highly regarded)
• Familiarity with BPCS, Pickman, or similar inventory/warehouse management systems (or strong aptitude to learn quickly)
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements and compliance documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Ability to work independently overnight while communicating effectively with the Site Lead
• Solid computer literacy and comfort navigating multiple systems during a shift
• A proactive approach to identifying and escalating exceptions or discrepancies
