Job summary

PFD Food Services is seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to lead our Warrnambool warehouse operations. You will supervise the afternoon shift, ensure efficiency, safety, and excellent service to customers, reporting to the Branch Manager.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong people management, operational knowledge, and a commitment to a safe and productive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse, logistics, or distribution teams.
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Sound knowledge of OH&S and HACCP requirements.
• Current forklift licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse team members on the afternoon shift.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet targets.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and performance across warehouse functions.
• Ensure OH&S, HACCP, and safety standards are followed.
• Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, and stock rotation.
• Provide coaching, training and development to team members.
• Collaborate with transport, sales and admin teams to meet customer expectations.
• Lead by example and foster a positive workplace culture.

About this Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations in Warrnambool. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse team members, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong people management skills, operational knowledge, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive team environment.

• Supervise and support warehouse team members throughout the afternoon shift.

• Provide coaching, training, and development to team members.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution leadership role.
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Sound knowledge of OH&S and HACCP requirements.
• Current forklift licence preferred.
