Anton Murray Consulting is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst for a global bank client in Sydney on a 6-month contract. The role supports review, management and completion of operational risk matters, including audits and monitoring, with analytics, reporting, planning and potential project support for branch-wide initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Internal Audit/Ops Risk in Banking, strong knowledge of Australian Prudential requirements, and excellent MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Internal Audit / Ops Risk within Banking.
• Strong understanding of Australian Prudential requirements and financial markets.
• Strong project and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of reporting to senior officers and Senior Management.
• Prepare and review Outsourcing reports for Head Office.
• Prepare and review CSA reports for Head Office.
• Prepare and review Service Quality Reporting to Head Office.
• Gather information from data sources for Head Office/Branch reports.
• Review regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Analyze data, perform risk assessments, investigations, testing, and report results.
• Review monthly transaction volumes and Key Risk Indicators.
• Perform daily SWIFT checks and circulate in ECM.
• Conduct regular reviews of branch operational risk.
• Identify and escalate breaches of procedures or compliance obligations.
