Job summary

Global Corporate & Investment Bank is seeking an Operational Risk & Internal Audit Analyst for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract in Sydney, NSW. The role bridges risk management with independent assurance, focusing on internal and external audit matters and maintaining robust controls.

You will work with the Senior Manager, gain exposure to branch-wide project management, and contribute to regulatory compliance across Australian and global standards. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Internal Audit or Operational Risk within Banking/CIB.
• Strong regulatory and market knowledge, APRA familiarity.
• Excellent MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and risk workflow system experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze audit data and perform risk assessments to support controls.
• Prepare audit reports for senior officers and Head Office.
• Promote internal control evaluations through CSA/Outsourcing/Service Quality reporting.
• Perform daily SWIFT checks, monthly transaction analyses, and KRI reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Australian requirements and global standards.
