Job summary

Australian Compliance Institute seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Operational Quality and Compliance team. You will apply clinical expertise to deliver audit-based quality and compliance programs aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards.

This role involves conducting audits, monitoring across Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan and the ACT, with some travel required. Based at Albion Park Rail, Goulburn or Queanbeyan, it offers flexible working arrangements and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years in aged care quality or similar role.
• Auditing experience demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to support compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Monitor compliance across Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan and the ACT.

About the role:

Joining the Operational Quality and Compliance team, you will use your clinical skills to deliver the organisational quality and compliance program to meet the Aged Care Quality Standards. This includes conducting audits and monitoring compliance across the various locations including the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan and the ACT. Some travel to these locations may be required.

This position can be based at either Albion Park Rail, Goulburn or Queanbeyan.

Requirements

To be successful you will need:

• Registered Nurse with current Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Minimum 5 years experience working in the Aged Care industry in a quality or similar role
• Demonstrate auditing experience
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution skills and problem solving ability
• Superior verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines with proven attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate a proficiency using computer systems including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel operating in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Understanding of the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Current Driver's License
