Our client is seeking a highly experienced senior leader to undertake a 12-month engagement as an Operational Excellence Management Stream Lead. This is a significant enterprise-wide transformation role requiring an individual with the maturity, credibility and leadership presence to operate effectively across executive, operational, technical and regulatory stakeholder groups.

Excellent opportunity to lead significant operational, cultural and regulatory change within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.

You will work closely with engineering, asset management, operations, safety, risk and regulatory stakeholders to ensure operational conditions align with licensing and safety requirements

The program is addressing licensing health, operational conditions and compliance requirements, ensuring the organisation has the right artefacts, processes and controls to maintain its licences to operate

Key Skills Required:

• Experience in safety critical backgrounds like aviation, mining, oil and gas, rail, Pharmaceutical or Medicine manufacturing
• Experience working in highly regulated outcome driven environments
• Understanding of CASA or TGA regulator requirements
• Demonstrated executive-level leadership experience within complex organisations.
• Strong background in Engineering, Asset Management, Technical Compliance, Operational Excellence, Risk or Regulatory environments.
• A strong track record leading large-scale transformation, remediation or business improvement programs.
• Demonstrated experience working within environments governed by strict regulatory, licensing, safety or compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of technical compliance, operational risk, asset management and regulatory obligations.
• Outstanding program and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience dealing with complex, sensitive or contested issues and achieving outcomes through influence rather than authority.
• The ability to engage confidently with senior executives, subject matter experts, assurance functions and external stakeholders.
• Strong judgement, resilience, organisational awareness and personal gravitas.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, moderation and relationship management skills.
• A proven ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and organisational resistance while maintaining delivery momentum.
