AECOM is seeking an experienced OpenRoads Highways Designer to join our Perth Transportation team, delivering major highway projects across Western Australia. You will work with project managers, engineers and drafters to produce design outputs that adhere to MRWA standards and deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate across disciplines and contribute to planning, tender submissions and client presentations.

Qualificações

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in road and highway design.
• Advanced proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer.
• Demonstrated experience delivering MRWA projects.
• MRWA Road Planning and Design Manual
• Austroads Guides
• Road Safety and Safe System principles
• Design documentation and drafting standards
• Experience preparing road geometric designs for urban and rural projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams

Responsabilidades

• Develop road and highway designs using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Prepare geometric road design models, alignments, corridors and cross-sections.
• Produce design documentation, drawings and reports for concept, preliminary and detailed design stages.
• Apply MRWA standards, policies and guidelines to project delivery.
• Coordinate road design interfaces with drainage, structures, utilities, traffic and civil disciplines.
• Undertake design reviews, design verification and quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling and technical delivery.
• Support tender submissions, proposals and client presentations where required.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and approval authorities throughout project development.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to technical capability development within the team
