Job summary

The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Greenkeeping/Horticulture/ Landscaping or related field, possess a Chemical Users Accreditation, a Class C licence, and proven experience in

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Greenkeeping, Horticulture, Landscaping or related field.
• Chemical Users Accreditation Certificate or equivalent.
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.
• Experience in sportsfield preparation and maintenance.
• Experience in leading a small team at an operational level.
• Skills and experience to fulfil the role's duties and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of staff at an operational level.
• Undertake 'On the Job' Tool Box Talks prior to daily activities.
• Ensure parks, sportsfields, ovals, etc. are prepared, maintained and renovated in accordance with service agreements, rosters and programs.
• Provide recommendations for annual improvement, maintenance and renovation programs and implement as required.
• Inspect sportsfields, ovals, etc. under the position holders control, following periods of excessive rainfall, and advise on closures or openings.
