MineSet Recruitment is partnering with an established mining operation to recruit an Open Pit Mine Manager who will lead the site during a growth phase. The role focuses on safe, efficient and compliant operation, balancing day-to-day demands with longer-term priorities.

You will report to the COO, coordinate site activities, manage resources and foster strong stakeholder relationships while driving continuous improvement and workforce development.

Formación

• Experience leading open pit mining operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of drill and blast, load and haul, mine planning and contractor mining activities.
• Experience managing operational budgets, forecasts and performance targets.
• Sound knowledge of mining legislation, statutory obligations and compliance requirements.
• Track record of developing people and fostering accountability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to site-based teams and contractors.
• Manage mining activities to achieve production and cost objectives.
• Support mine planning and operational execution.
• Monitor performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective contractor management and accountability.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Coach and mentor workforce to build capability.
• Maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
