Job summary

Tennis Australia is seeking a Product Operations Coordinator, PX Build to help deliver the Australian Open 2027. This full-time fixed-term contract role requires flexibility across the contracted period and supports site delivery and operations.

In this role you will coordinate suppliers, manage procurement, budgets and documentation, and assist on-site during bump-in, tournament, and bump-out periods. A focus on safety, timeliness, and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in event operations, construction, project coordination or a similar operational environment.
• Demonstrate strong administration, budgeting and project coordination skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Be confident interpreting build documentation, schedules and project plans.
• Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and comfortable using project scheduling tools.
• Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and flexibility to support major event operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors and consultants to support the delivery of Australian Open build projects.
• Managing procurement processes, purchase orders, contract administration, invoicing and budget tracking.
• Developing and maintaining project documentation, schedules, production plans and operational resources.
• Coordinating site logistics, deliveries, access requirements and supplier activities during bump-in, tournament and bump-out periods.
• Supporting on-site operations and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
