Job summary

Tennis Australia is seeking a Product Operations Coordinator, PX Build to join our Product Operations & Site Delivery team and help deliver the Australian Open 2027. This full-time fixed-term contract role requires full availability during the contracted period.

You will coordinate suppliers, manage procurement and budgets, and develop project documentation to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery for a world-class event in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience in event operations, construction, project coordination or similar.
• Strong administration, budgeting and project coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret build documentation, schedules and project plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and scheduling tools.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and flexibility for major event operations.
• Preparedness to be flexible in working hours and arrangements relating to Tennis Australia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and consultants for Australian Open build projects.
• Manage procurement, purchase orders, contract administration, invoicing and budget tracking.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules and production plans.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, access requirements and supplier activities during bump-in, tournament and bump-out periods.
• Support on-site operations and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
