Job summary

Tennis Australia requires a Site Operations Supervisor to lead the delivery of event overlay and temporary infrastructure for the United Cup Sydney 2027. This is a full-time maximum-term contract from 9 November 2026 to 29 January 2027, with availability across build, delivery and bump-out periods, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in major events, venue operations, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving and calm under pressure.
• White Card (Construction Induction Card) or ability to obtain before starting; Forklift licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of event overlay and temporary infrastructure across designated venue work zones during bump-in, tournament operations and bump-out.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, logistics and site crews to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Monitor site progress, conduct inspections and quality assurance checks, and provide regular updates to the Event Operations team.
• Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships onsite while communicating site procedures and updates.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying risks and enforcing health and safety requirements.
