Job summary

Bravus Mining and Resources’ Carmichael mine in the North Galilee Basin seeks a Superintendent – Mining to lead production teams and deliver safe, efficient and continuous open-cut operations. You will drive production targets for tonnage, quality and cost, provide visible safety leadership and collaborate with Maintenance, CHPP, Planning and Technical Services.

The role operates on an 8 days on, 6 days off dayshift roster, with a strong focus on risk management, regulatory compliance and

Qualifications

• Experience as Superintendent or in a senior open-cut mining role.
• Proven ability to lead production teams and develop frontline leaders.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead mining production teams to safely deliver continuous operations.
• Plan, monitor and control daily activities to meet tonnage, quality and cost targets.
• Provide visible safety leadership and drive zero-harm culture.
• Deploy resources to optimise fleet utilisation and unit costs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, CHPP and Technical Services for reliable production.
• Coach Supervisors and Leading Hands to build capability and performance.
• Use data to identify improvements and ensure regulatory and SHMS compliance.
