Job summary

Bravus Mining and Resources is seeking a Supervisory role in mining to lead frontline crews at the Carmichael site. The position reports to the Superintendent Mining and aims to safely deliver production targets while driving operational excellence and building a high-performing team.

This role operates on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, offering work-life balance and opportunities for career development within a large-scale operation. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar supervisory role within a large-scale mining operation.
• Current Mining Supervisor Qualifications (G1, G8, G9) and G2 Risk Management certification.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily mining activities to safely achieve production targets.
• Optimise equipment utilisation, workforce deployment and operational efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational challenges, equipment downtime and site risks.
• Build, mentor and develop high-performing crews through effective leadership and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
• Prepare accurate production and shift reports with strong stakeholder communication.
