Uniting Limited in Prahran is seeking a part-time Op Shop coordinator to manage volunteers and daily operations. You will create visually appealing displays, manage stock, and ensure smooth cash handling and closing procedures while supporting sales targets.

The role requires creativity, a passion for charity retail, and availability Sundays to Tuesdays with some weekends and public holidays as rostered. Based in Prahran, it offers weekend penalty rates and superannuation.

• Passion for fashion and charity retail with strong visual merchandising sense.

Your new role

Join our team and coordinate our volunteers and daily operations of our Op Shop in Prahran. It's a great opportunity to be part of a friendly community, it's lively and varied!

This role is for 45.6 hours per fortnight, with rostered days being Sundays to Tuesdays, plus additional days and public holidays as agreed.

Our Op Shops team are responsible for bringing their creative flair to create visually appealing and contemporary Op Shops. We encourage and build a culture of productivity, imagination, innovation, change and development. Our Op Shops allow you to tap into your natural way of being creative, enthusiastic, and having fun.

Our aim is to delight people in a meaningful and memorable way, while offering positive customer experiences, high level visual merchandising, critical stock and space management, achieving sales targets, and celebrating Uniting's culture.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for fashion and charity retail and have a flair for visual merchandising.

You will ideally have experience in cash handling, register operations and closing procedures and be confident in supervising a team as well as working on your own.

You will also be available to work weekends and public holidays, sometimes at short notice. You may sometimes be required to work at our other Op Shop locations.
