Zusammenfassung

Uniting Victoria and Tasmania’s Albert Park Op Shop is seeking a creative, hands-on coordinator to lead volunteers and daily operations. This 53.2-hour fortnight, parental leave replacement role offers dynamic retail exposure in a friendly community setting.

The successful candidate will oversee visual merchandising, assist with stock management, and ensure great customer experiences while working Sundays to Tuesdays and Saturdays to Tuesdays as rosters require.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with cash handling and POS operations.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to rotate across Uniting Op Shop locations.

Your new role

Join our team and coordinate our volunteers and daily operations of our Op Shop in Albert Park. It's a great opportunity to be part of a friendly community, it's lively and varied!

This is a parental leave replacement position for 53.2 hours per fortnight. The roster is Sundays to Tuesdays one week, and then Saturdays to Tuesdays the following week. This may include additional hours as required. This maximum-term part-time position is expected to end in June 2027.

Our Op Shops team are responsible for bringing their creative flair to create visually appealing and contemporary Op Shops. We encourage and build a culture of productivity, imagination, innovation, change and development. Our aim is to delight people in a meaningful and memorable way, while offering positive customer experiences, high level visual merchandising, critical stock and space management, achieving sales targets, and celebrating Uniting's culture.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for fashion and charity retail and have a flair for visual merchandising.

You will ideally have experience in cash handling, register operations and closing procedures and be confident in supervising a team as well as working on your own.

You will also be available to work weekends and public holidays, sometimes at short notice. You may sometimes be required to work at our other Op Shop locations.
