Job summary

Cabonne Council is seeking an Out of School Hours Care Lead Educator to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, and deliver high-quality, inclusive educational programs for primary school‑aged children. You will supervise staff, maintain ratios, and build strong relationships with families and schools.

You will uphold child safety, be a Responsible Person, and participate in service improvements while adhering to policies and WHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and support educators in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accept the role of Responsible Person and oversee daily service operations.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, service policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement and critically reflect on educational programs aligned with My Time, Our Place.
• Supervise and support OOSHC Support Educators and volunteers.
• Maintain safe educator-to-child ratios and a secure, stimulating environment.
• Build respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families, schools and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and displays as required.
• Participate in service assessment, rating and continuous improvement processes.
• Work safely and in accordance with Council's WHS policies and Code of Conduct.
• Uphold a child-safe environment and report concerns promptly.
