Job summary

Cabonne Council is seeking an Out of School Hours Care Lead Educator to oversee daily operations as the Responsible Person across services in the Cabonne local government area. The role emphasizes delivering engaging, safe and inclusive programs for primary school-aged children.

The position requires a strong commitment to child safety, regulatory compliance and teamwork within the Children's Services department.

Qualifications

• Education and Care approved First Aid Certification.
• Working with Children Check clearance.
• Child Protection training completed.
• Criminal History Check required.
• Class C driver’s licence desirable.
• Experience coordinating activities for children.

Responsibilities

• Accept the role of Responsible Person and oversee daily service operations.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies.
• Develop, implement and reflect on educational programs aligned with My Time, Our Place.
• Supervise and support OOSHC Educators and volunteers.
• Maintain educator-to-child ratios and a safe environment.
• Build relationships with children, families, schools and stakeholders.
• Maintain records, documentation and displays as required.
• Participate in service assessment and continuous improvement processes.
