Job summary

Sanctuary Early Learning Adventure Ashmore on the Gold Coast is seeking an OSHC Lead Educator to lead before- and after-school care, developing learning experiences under the Early Years Learning Framework and ensuring child safety and well-being.

Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood, be at least 25, have a current First Aid qualification and a Blue Card, and possess a valid driver’s licence. The role offers flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood and be 25 years or older.
• First Aid qualifications (Early Childhood specific) required.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or exemption.
• Completion of Child Protection Training and knowledge of mandatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise the rights, health and safety of all children.
• Create engaging environments for children to explore and document their learning.
• Demonstrated ability to document children’s learning.
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, and educators.
• Contribute to learning programs based on each child’s ideas using the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication.
