Extend After School Care in Sydney's NSW cluster is seeking an OOSH Relief Assistant to support after school care and vacation care programs. Shifts run 2:25 PM–6:00 PM, with 2-3 shifts fortnightly across the Kellyville, Cherrybrook and Prestons areas.

Casual contract with paid training and development opportunities. You’ll bring a relevant qualification (Certificate III+ in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care) or be studying toward one.

• Currently studying toward or holding a qualification in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care.
• Warm, engaging attitude and a can-do mindset.
• Valid Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).

• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy during shifts.
• Engage families and coordinate with ongoing OOSH programs.

About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working across our fantastic Kellyville, Cherrybrook & Prestons cluster! You’ll have the opportunity to support services in these suburbs, making a real impact while broadening your OOSH leadership experience.

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. 2-3 shifts fortnightly.
• After School Care: 2:25 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OOSH programs.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
