Job summary

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School in Tweed Heads is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Coordinator to lead Before/After School and Vacation Care programs. The role is casual, with hours Monday to Friday and guaranteed presence on all school days.

You’ll design engaging activities, ensure safety, craft healthy snacks, and collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager and compliance team to deliver high-quality OOSH services.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, School-Age Care, or related field.
• Approved qualification required; candidates with completed qualifications prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Be the Visionary: plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids want to do.
• Safety First, Fun Always: lead a safe, inclusive environment for every child.
• Chef it up: whip up healthy, tasty snacks to maintain energy levels.
• Champion Quality: work with Programs Engagement Manager on assessment & ratings with support from compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building integrated OOSH programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: manage the day-to-day operations of the service.

About your service: Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Tweed Heads.

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 7:00 AM- 9:00 AM
• After School Care: 2:15 PM- 6:00 PM
• Vacation Care: Flexible upto 30 Hours per week.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. Guaranteed all school days.
• Contract Type: Casual
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You hold a Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, School-Age Care, Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field. Candidates who have fully completed their qualification (with no outstanding placement requirements) will be prioritised.
