Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Assistant for Bowral, NSW. You will help deliver exciting after-school and vacation activities, support safety and inclusion, and assist with healthy snacks and program management.

Applicants should hold relevant qualifications (Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or related fields) and possess WWC, First Aid/ CPR, and child-protection training (or willingness to obtain). The role offers flexible hours under a casual contract.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or related field (desirable)
• Valid Working With Children Check
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management training (willingness to obtain)
• Diplomas or degrees in education are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging activities (science, sports, arts) for OSHC participants
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all children
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels
• Collaborate with families and schools to deliver cohesive OSHC programs

Job Details & Role

About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working in our fantastic service at Bowral! You'll have the opportunity to support services across Bowral and Tahmoor making a real impact while broadening your OOSH leadership experience.

Hourly Rate: $37.58 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM
• Days Required: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week. (only include if vac is offered at school)
• Contract: Casual
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You've got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not required).
