Extend After School Care in Bowral is seeking an OOSH Relief Service Assistant to support before and after school programs across Bowral and Tahmoor. This casual role offers flexible shifts, competitive hourly pay, and professional development paid training.

You will create engaging activities, supervise safety, prepare healthy snacks, and collaborate with families and staff to deliver inclusive, high-quality OSHC experiences for primary school children.

Qualifications

• You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
• The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• You’re warm, engaging, and have a can-do attitude.

• Create Awesome Experiences: Assist in delivering science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working in our fantastic service at Bowral! You’ll have the opportunity to support services across Bowral and Tahmoor making a real impact while broadening your OOSH leadership experience.

Hourly Rate: $37.58 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Days Required: Monday to Friday. 3-5 shifts fortnightly.
• Vacation Care:Up to 30 hours per week. (only include if vac is offered at school).
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
