Job summary

Northern Rivers Community Gateway, Casino, NSW, is seeking a Permanent Part-Time OOSH Educator to support Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs. The role offers guaranteed school term hours, a split shift schedule, and commitment to child safety and development.

Applicants should have a genuine interest in school-aged children, be able to work independently and in teams, and hold or be studying towards a relevant Certificate III or higher. WWCC and Police check required.

Qualifications

• Interest in school-aged children and wellbeing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of NQF and My Time, Our Place framework desired.
• Ability to build respectful relationships with children and families.
• Commitment to child safety and positive behaviour support.
• Willingness to participate in Vacation Care programs.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of child-centred programs.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Create safe, inclusive environments for learning and play.
• Assist with daily routines, supervision and activities.
• Support Vacation Care with excursions and activities.
• Collaborate with the OOSH team to meet quality care standards.
