Job summary

Northern Rivers Community Gateway | Community Gateway OOSH in Casino, NSW, is seeking a Permanent Part-Time OOSH Educator to support school-aged children during term time. This role offers 27.5 hours per week with split shifts.

You will plan engaging programs under the My Time, Our Place framework, foster strong relationships with families, and contribute to Vacation Care during school holidays. This role values safety, inclusivity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Interest in working with school-aged children and their learning and wellbeing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and positive behaviour support.
• Availability for Before and After School Care shifts and Vacation Care periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred programs aligned with My Time, Our Place.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment for learning through structured and free-play activities.
• Assist with daily routines, supervision and learning opportunities.
• Support the Vacation Care program with excursions and activities.
• Collaborate with the OOSH team to deliver high-quality care.
