Job summary

Community Gateway is seeking a Permanent Part-Time OOSH Educator for Casino, NSW. The role offers 27.5 hours per week during school terms with split shifts (Before 7:00–9:00, After 14:30–18:00) and additional hours during Vacation Care.

You will plan and deliver child-centred programs, support safety and learning, and work within a supportive, community-focused team. The position requires WWCC, Police Check, NSW driver’s license, and First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, with ongoing

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with school-aged children.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place.
• Ability to build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to child safety, inclusion and positive behaviour support.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of engaging, child-centred programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework.
• Build positive, respectful and supportive relationships with children and families.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
• Assist with daily routines, supervision and learning opportunities through structured and free-play activities.
• Support Vacation Care delivery, including excursions and activities.
• Collaborate with the OOSH team to provide high-quality care per the National Quality Framework.
